Contains a wide variety of material related to the many theatrical productions in which Remme appeared to include playbills, contract sheets, reviews, newspaper ads, flyers, newspaper articles and correspondence. His Broadway performances were in The Ritz (1975), The Royal Family (1976), Can Can (1981), Alice in Wonderland (1982), and Gypsy (1989). He performed in 19 productions at the Goodspeed Opera House, East Haddam, Conn. An extensive collection of photographs were separated & are part of the Institute photograph collection.

John Remme was born at Fargo, N.D. and grew up in Minneapolis, Minn. After attending the University of Minnesota from 1953 to 1955 he moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.
